Bodywise Pilates Derby

We have a substantial amount of clinical experience, skills and knowledge to support our Pilates teaching.

We will do out best to consider your individual needs within a class environment.

We love what we do and are passionate about the benefits of movement,  Pilates and a calm and focused mind.

Holistic wellbeing is an essential part of our philosophy and we include relaxation and wellbeing techniques in our Pilates practice.

Bodywise Pilates Derby was started by Occupational Therapist Lesley Moran in 2007.

Continued professional development is highly valued to keep us up to date, fresh in our approach and to enable us to provide high quality classes.

 

 

 

Lesley Moran

Qualifying as an Occupational Therapist (OT) with a first class honours degree in 1995, Lesley worked in rehabilitation settings for the NHS for many years, with clients with a wide range of diagnoses both individually and in groups. Lesley has specialist skills in Neurological Occupational Therapy; working with people who have MS, Parkinsons , a stroke or traumatic brain injury.

Lesley qualified as a Reflexologist in 2003 and gained a post graduate certificate of competency in Maternity Reflexology with Suzanne Enzer a midwife and internationally recognised specialist in this field. 

Following this, she successfully completed her Pilates Matwork training and post graduate pre and post natal qualification with the Pilates Foundation Master Trainer Rachel Rafiefar.

When not doing Pilates, Lesley loves to get out with her dog, friends and family.
